Hey Mark - thanks for this video. Apart from it being really really f*ckin cool, I'd always been searching for an alternative to flimsy video capture programs like Camtasia. The ADVC 100 is exactly the solution I hoped existed.
And Merry Christmas dude!

marcobucci: If ya ever need help getting set up, gimme a call!

btw, the ADVC100 is an obsolete model succeeded by the ADVC110. You might still be able to find an ADVC100 on EBay, but if not, the 110 should still do the trick.

You can find a lot of info about the two (along with something else called an ACEDVio on here

Thanks for showing us your setup. Twas enlightening. I especially liked your hack with the 6d pen. I have the same Wacom pens, but not the clintique o_O. The TVPaint animation software you use is also unusual to me but cool. I'm kind of surprised that you don't use corel painter but I liked what I saw from your use of tvpaint, you make it look so easy. Btw you could check out Alchemy.org, they have a wonderful sketch program in beta that is meant for quick sketch/ ideation. Doesn't do 6d stuff but it is still so different from any other sketch program I've seen to be an option. Especially as it is FOSS.
